With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Matson of Metamora, Illinois, born in Buda, Illinois, who passed away on June 17, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Olson and Edythe Olson (Grubb); her siblings, William Olson and Barbara Simpson; and her brothers-in-law, Jerry Simpson and Gene Watkins.
She is survived by: her husband Richard O. Matson of Metamora; her sons, Ken Matson (Linda Gehrig) of Germantown Hills and Dale Matson (Sue) of Metamora; her grandchildren, Krysta Brackett (Wes) of Hanna City, IL, Drew Matson (Ashley) of Hanna City, IL and Taylor Miller (Austin) of Germantown Hills, IL; her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Josie Matson and Adeline Miller; and her sister Judy Watkins of Lacon, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Snyder Village Resident in Need Fund, 1200 East Partridge Street, Metamora, IL 61548.
