He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Zimmerman and Levi Zimmerman; and his brother Gene Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Donna Byerly; his children, Janice Lewis (Christopher) of Crystal Lake, IL, Susan Flessner (Paul) of Bainbridge Island, WA and David Zimmerman (Kati) of Seattle, WA; his brothers, Richard Zimmerman, James Zimmerman and Michael Zimmerman; and his grandchildren, Matthew Lewis, Michael Lewis, Meghan Armeli, Andrew Flessner, Jonathan Flessner and Lucia Zimmerman. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
