We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Joseph R. Schaidle of Metamora, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schaidle and Clara Schneider Schaidle; his wife Bonnie Dixon; and his son Doug. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Kelch (Jim), Vicki Waldschmidt (Phil), Cindy Smith (Gary), Karen Schaidle, David Schaidle (Lori) and John Schaidle (Barb); his siblings, Hildegard and Walter (Pat); and his sister-in-law Judy. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

“We were going to come to pay respects to the family this morning, for your Mom and Dad have been just down the road since we moved here from Colorado in Sept of 1973. Facebook had a thing showing Vicki and I had gone to see recent pictures and happened across one of Joe and the family. It might have only been a day or so before I heard he had passed away. With our faith in Jesus and what He said in John 14:1-6 we KNOW Jesus wanted us who believed that He was the Savior, to be with Him.”
