Janet Sue Clark Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Sue Clark of Metamora, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Janet may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janet touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville R. Strayer and Hilda M. Strayer (Folkers); her husband Raymond E. "Ray" Clark; and her brother Ronald Strayer. She is survived by: her children, Terry Clark (Mary) of Metamora, Lisa Clark of Metamora and Jennifer Downs (Brian) of East Peoria, IL; and her sister Jane Mitzelfelt of Chillicothe, IL.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel (219 E Partridge St, Metamora, IL 61548). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Elite Community Outreach, 714 Hamilton Boulevard, Peoria, IL 61603.
