James William Hauter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James William Hauter of Metamora, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 20, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Hauter and Dorothea M. Hauter (Peck); his spouse Shirley E. Burnett; and his son Joseph Hauter. He is survived by: his daughters, Lynne Johnson (Gregory) of Dickinson, ND and Jennifer (David Poling) of Metamora; his daughter-in-law Jane Hauter of Metamora; his grandchildren, Darren Johnson (Rachel), Bethany Demery (Garen), Kristin Johnson, Brooke Poling (Jacob Malik) and Ben Poling (Faela Pierce); and his great grandchildren, Quinn, Kaysen and Cade Demery.
