With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Wernsman (Metamora, Illinois), born in Germantown Hills, Illinois, who passed away on June 10, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wernsman and Minnie Wernsman (Brunk); his stepson Tim Kath; his daughter-in-law Carole Wernsman; his brother Milton Wernsman; and his brother-in-law Jerry Gullett.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Colson; his children, Kim Elbert (Ben) of Morton and Kevin Wernsman (Beth) of Germantown Hills; his stepchildren, Carla McNamee (Rich) of Mt. Pleasant, IA, Connie Berry (Chris) of Waco, TX, Kim Ireton (Rick) of East Peoria and Dan Kath of Peoria; and his sister Barb Gullett of Congerville.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Heart Association Central Illinois Chapter, 2141 West White Oaks Drive, Suite A, Springfield, IL 62704.
