She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert William and LaVonne Lois Schierer (Kerker); and her sister Janice Renae. She is survived by: her former husband Ralph Louis Gunderson; her husband Mark Pemberton; her sons, Jayme Gunderson (Erin) of Metamora and Jason Gunderson of Germantown Hills; her grandchildren, Henry, Charles and Vivienne Gunderson; and her brothers, Stephen Schierer (Mary) and Keith Schierer (Diana). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Mary's School, 415 West Chatham Street, Metamora, IL 61548.
