He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Seckler and Mildred Seckler (Donahue); and his brothers, John, Arnold, Steve, Bruce and Norman.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred F. "Suzie" Adams of Metamora; his son Dennis L. Seckler of Prophetstown, IL; his granddaughters, Emily Casconi (Cameron) of St. Louis, MO and Anna M. Seckler of East Peoria, IL; and his sisters, Edna Marchand, Candace Miller, Mary Shawback, Jeannie Stivers and Teresa Seckler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association Central Illinois Chapter, 614 West Glen Avenue, Peoria, IL 61614.
