He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick LeRoy and Mary Alice Cheek, Sr. (Pullium); his granddaughters, Mackenzie and Hayley Cheek; and his siblings, Maye Rodriguez and Fred Cheek, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Jenkins of Metamora; his children, Lisa Cheek of Peoria, Lori Gilroy (Anthony) of Peoria and Todd Cheek of Pontiac, IL; his grandchildren, Wyatt Gilroy, Peyton Cheek and Trinity Cheek; and his sister Faye Mammen of Delavan. He is also survived by loving grandfather to his grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Snyder Village Residents in Need Fund, 1200 East Partridge Street, Metamora, IL 61548.
