It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Thomas Lindenfelser of Metamora, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Lindenfelser and Ethel F. Lindenfelser (Sproat); his wife Betty Helen Donnar (Kaps); his son Charles Thomas Lindenfelser II; his half-brothers, Lester C. Lindenfelser and Russell W. Lindenfelser; his grandson John Van Dran; and also, Joseph Lindenfelser and Mary Jo Van Dran.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Lindenfelser of Georgetown, KY and Mary Ann Jenke (Art) of Germantown Hills, IL; his daughter-in-law Lynn Lindenfelser of Dearborn Heights, MI; his grandchildren, Kierstyn Lindenfelser, Brooke Fitzsimmons, Heather Lindenfelser Frazier and Christopher Jenke; his great grandchildren, Beckett Fitzsimmons, Kina Lindenfelser Frazier and Stephanie Fitzsimmons; his great great grandchildren, Asher and Camille Fitzsimmons; his great grandchildren, Janet Shipley (Matt) and Michell Allen (Travis); and also, Michele, Nicole Logan, Annie Fliesner, Katrina Baker and Sandy Ochs.
His retirement years were spent as founder, writer, director, and producer for the Snyder Village Gospel Choir from 2003 until the pandemic.
