Betty L. Crusen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Betty L. Crusen of Metamora, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Richard "Rip" Neild and Juanita Winland Neild; her husband John E. Crusen; and her brother Rich Neild. She is survived by: her children, Amy Crusen of The Villages, FL, Rebecca Crusen of Tavares, FL, Joanne Bean (Jeremiah) of Indianapolis, John M. Crusen of Pittsburgh and Joseph A. Crusen of Joliet; her grandchildren, Hayden, Meredith, Jack, Natalie, Lucy and John; and her sister-in-law Winnie Neild of Georgia.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Federated Church (3601 N Sheridan Rd, Peoria, IL 61604). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Betty has chosen to donate her body to research, continuing her legacy of learning, and will later be inurned at St. Mary's Cemetery in West Peoria. Memorial contributions may be made to Snyder Village Resident in Need Fund or Trinity Services in New Lenox, IL.
