We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2020, at the age of 84, Arthur C. Smith Sr. of Metamora, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arthur C. Smith Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Victor Smith and Sarah Downing Smith; his former wives, Judith Hogan and Patricia Irish; his wife Jane Frantz; his children, Arthur C. "Chuck" Smith Jr. (Debbie), Jerry Smith (Destiny), Lisa Bennett-Batache, David Deeb (Lisa) and Lori O'Berry (Darin); and his stepchildren, Linda Irish, Karen Irish, Tim Frantz (Mary) and Dana Frantz. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several step-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorials may be made to East Peoria First United Methodist Church or to Snyder Village Resident in Need Fund.
