He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Abel and Barbara Abel (Grebner); his aunts and uncles, Martin Grebner, Harlan Grebner, Ralph Grebner, William Grebner, Barbara Andes, Elaine Linden, Lucille Grebner and Helen Best; and his cousins, Curt Andes and Vickie Ferguson.
He is survived by: his brother Stanley Abel of Metamora; and his uncle James Grebner (Karen) of Romeoville, IL.
