With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary P. Mattson of Merrionette Park, Illinois, who passed away on June 22, 2021 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Mattson and Dorothy Mattson; and his sister Marlene Brennan. He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Michelle "Micky" Higgins (Jonathan) and Ashley Olsen (Derek); his grandchildren, Patrick "PJ" Higgins, Lillian "Lily" Olsen, Ryan Higgins and Penelope "Penny" Olsen; his siblings, Robert Mattson, Bonnie Morrisroe and Daniel Mattson; and his friend James McAleenan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
