He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Surratt and Violet Surratt (Easley); his daughter Angela Marie Surratt DeJaynes; his grandchildren, Sam, Brandon Miller, Timothy Surratt and Aubrey Nevaeh Stinson; his siblings, James R. Surratt, Becky Mueller and Charlotte Harris; his grandparents, James, Ella Surratt, George and Letha Easley; and his father-in-law Harold "Rink" Surratt.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Surratt; his children, Bill Surratt (Heather) of Griggsville, Josh Suratt (Laykin) of Pittsfield, Wendi Stinson (Jody) of Meredosia and Erin Neal (Matt) of Camden, NC; his aunt Sharon Cockerill of Winchester; his close friend Tom Newman (Lori) of Peoria; and his pets, Sassy Len and Mollie Joe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
