It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca S. Davis of Meredosia, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Lester and Beulah Morrell Smith; her husband Robert Davis; her son Vincent Davis; her great grandchildren, Steven and Braxton Noble; and her siblings, Michael Smith, Ronnie Smith, Burdette Smith and Rosalie Blackwell.
She is survived by: her children, Veronica Dotzert of Meredosia and Kim Lash of Winchester; and her caregiver Assistant. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
