He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Ruyle and Lena Alice Isabella Ruyle (Newman); his wife Wanda Maxine McDannald; and his siblings, Loretta Flynn, Lawrence Ruyle, Doris Hilton, Dean Ruyle, Leon Ruyle, Linda Lou Asbury, Connie Petri and Sharon Lee Ruyle.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick John Ruyle (Sherri) of Winchester and Cynthia Alice "Cindy" Walker (Aaron) of Versailles; his grandchildren, Caleb Ruyle (Breana Lovel), Kendall Ruyle (Katie) and Lance McGinnis (Paige); his stepgranddaughter Courtney Grimsley (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Sadie, Hadlee, Reid, Parker, Brantley, Connor and Elliott.
Memorials are suggested to the Meredosia Fire Department or to Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice.
