It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David D. Hilton Jr. of Meredosia, Illinois, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Dwight Hilton, Sr. and Doris Patsy Ruyle Hilton; and his brothers, Douglas and Christopher Hilton. He is survived by: his daughter Fawn Hilton of Petersburg; his close friend Mindy Raush of Meredosia; his sister Jennifer Bennett (Mark); his nephew Adam Bennett; his nieces, Kasi, Rilee Bennett and Alla Hilton; and his pet Russell David (Uncle Todd).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Meredosia Community Center (912 Main St, Meredosia, IL 62665).
