He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald and Laura Buhlig Sr. (Jones); and his brother Michael Buhlig. He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his children, David K. Buhlig Jr. (Dawn) of Meredosia and Katrina G. Buhlig of Champaign; his grandchildren, Candace Vortman of Winchester, Shelbie Flath (Daniel) of Versailles and Jacob Buhlig of Meredosia; his great grandchildren, William, Maisynn and Myles; his siblings, Judy Gant (Curt) of Meredosia and Donald; and his pet Kitty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
