We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2023, at the age of 96, Shirley Jackson (Mendota, Illinois), born in Des Plaines, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Benson and June Benson (Bauman); her husband Howard Jackson; and her siblings, Clyde Benson, Jr., Charles Benson and Jacqueline Tite.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Jackson (Flora) of Mendota and Casey Gehant (Hap) of Thomson; and her grandchildren, Dale Jackson (Niccole) of Conroe, Lisa McPeak (Sean) of Appleton, Howard Jackson (Bryce) of Mendota Jessica, Erin Gehant (Ben Griffin) of Cedar Rapids and Matthew Gehant (Melissa) of Thomson. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
