The passing of Ruth C. Delhotal of Mendota, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 10, 2025 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Schmidt and Edith Schmidt (Martin); her husband Gordon Delhotal; her sons, Victor Frizol, Michael "Mike" Frizol and Edward "Eddy" Frizol; and her siblings, Mary Jean Schmidt, Norma Ecklund, William Schmidt, Daniel Schmidt, Robert Schlesinger and Harold Schlesinger.
She is survived by: her children, Edie Thompson (Bob Dellinger), Kelly Stewart (Joe), Tracy Quindoy and Robert "Bob" Frizol (Tammy); her stepchildren, Mary Lemus (Sylvia), Gordon Delhotal Jr., Laura McSeaton, John Delhotal and Brian Delhotal; her brother Charles Howarth (Sharon); and her close friend Bruce Wilhelm. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (398 Church Rd, Compton, IL 61318). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
