He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jose Tovar and Guadalupe Tovar (Moralez); his wife Maria Guadalupe Arreola; his children, Jose Carmen Tovar (Concepcion) of Austin, Martin Tovar of Elgin, Rosaura Rivera (Roberto) of Mendota, Mary Cruz Castenada (Martin) of Rochelle, Matilda Perez (Raul) of Mendota, Adriana Hernandez of Mendota, Seraphina Tovar of Mendota and Carolina Hernandez (Enrique) of Mexico; and his sister Raquel Tovar of Mexico. He was also cherished by 37 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren.
