Robert Godfrey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Godfrey of Mendota, Illinois, who passed away on October 14, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Godfrey and Blanche Godfrey (Nelson); his wife Vera Ritter; his daughter Jill Rister; and his siblings, Floyd and Lucille.
He is survived by: his sons, Dave Godfrey (Cathy) of Tucson and Jim Godfrey (Jean) of St. Germain, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Aaron, Joshua, Stephanie and Jennifer Godfrey; his son-in-law Steve Rister of Kirksville; and his sister Betty Fry of Mendota. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
