He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Motter and Loretta Motter (Noel); his siblings, Bill Motter and Sharon Edgcomb; and his grandson Eric Rod.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stamberger of Mendota; his children, Christine Liesse (Don) of Dimmick and Matthew Motter (Leslie) of LaMoille; his grandchildren, Janelle Ultch (Nathan), Kyle Rod (Katherine), Devon Sanchez (Oscar), Lauren Motter, Cara Motter, Collette Motter and Brooke Motter; his great grandchildren, Ali Sanchez, Olivia Ultch, Ava Ultch and Emma Ultch; and his sisters-in-law, Annette Stamberger and Chere Motter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
