She was predeceased by: her parents, Reyes Martinez and Louisa Martinez (Arisole); her husband Frank; her son Frank; and her granddaughter Monica.

She is survived by: her children, Nora Mendez, Mary Ras (Edward), Gloria Ortiz (Cris), Margot Menchaca and Richard Menchaca (Sherry). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
