He is survived by: his parents, Federico Arteaga and Amparo Arteaga (Perez); his wife Maria Victoria Salinas of Earlville; his children, Oswaldo Jr. of Earlville, Itzel Corona (Jesus) of Mendota and Naomi of Earlville; his grandson Leonardo Corona; his siblings, Maximiliano, Jaime, Martin, Jorge, Leonel, Adela Arteaga, Margarita Castañeda, Isidra Rodriguez and Hilda Almeda; and his pets, Melly and Kate.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasmer Funeral Home (2112 W Main St, Mendota, IL 61342). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Church (1010 Jefferson St, Mendota, IL 61342).
