It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Castiglia of Mendota, Illinois, born in Spring Valley, Illinois, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Castiglia and Theresa Castiglia (Venturelli); his wife Juanita Sondgeroth Castiglia (Bickett); his children, Douglas James, Debra Marie and Amy Beth Castiglia McCormick; his stepson Eric Sondgeroth; and his daughter-in-law Tammy Crawford Castiglia.
He is survived by: his son Tim Castiglia of Mexia, TX; his stepdaughter Stephanie (Sondgeroth); his sister Cheryl Shadensack (Alan) of Hanibal, MO; the mother of his children Lucy Limberg of Pontiac, IL; his daughter-in-law Yolanda Castiglia of Enfield, CT; his stepdaughter-in-law Maria Sondgeroth of Utica, IL.; his grandchildren, Michael Castiglia (Kim), Anthony Castiglia, Emily McCormick Seneca (Austin), Rachel Castiglia, Sarah McCormick Murphy (Will), Elaina Castiglia, Isabelle, Hunter, Ethan, Cody Sondgeroth, Nikolas Hannen and Brooke Garrett; his great grandchildren, Alexander, Jaina and Logan Castiglia; and his grandchildren, Wren Murphy and Molly Castiglia.
