He was predeceased by: his father Jerry Gambrel; his brother Brian; his nephew Masyn; and his grandparents, Rose "Gramma B", Carl Biederstedt, JB and Elizabeth Gambrel.
He is survived by: his mother Lynn Gambrel (Biederstedt); his wife Michelle; his children, Trevor McStoots (Paige) and Chantelle Balliu (Matt); his grandchildren, Maci McStoots, Sophie and Harper Balliu; his stepson Cody Carnahan; his siblings, Chris Gambrel (Stephanie), Jeremiah Gambrel (Lindsay) and Michelle "Sissy" Gambrel; and his siblings-in-law, Chad Ensor and Laura Schmitt (Everett). He is also survived by 4 nieces, 6 nephews, and 3 great nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wasmer Funeral Home (2112 W Main St, Mendota, IL 61342). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Church (1010 Jefferson St, Mendota, IL 61342).
