He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cassidy and Elizabeth Cassidy Sr. (Keough); his siblings, George Jr., Dennis, Jerry and Julie Carlson; his sister-in-law Nancy Cassidy; and his father-in-law Arthur Sondgeroth.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sondgeroth of Mendota; his children, Amy Grzeskiewicz (Gabe) of South Elgin, Melissa Shinnick (Drew) of Peru and Patrick Cassidy (Emily) of Mendota; his grandchildren, Kinsley Cassidy, Bennett Grzeskiewicz, Karter Cassidy, Leighton Grzeskiewicz, Kane Cassidy and Kendall Cassidy; and his siblings, Nancy Cassidy of Mendota, Patti Karch (Jack) of Texas, Jim Cassidy (Barb) of Ohio, Don Cassidy (Roberta) of Indianapolis, Bob Cassidy (Chris) of Mendota, Richard Cassidy of Aurora, Thomas Cassidy (Janet) of West Dundee, Marty (Marcia) of Arizona and Jeff Cassidy (Francesca) of Algonquin. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
