He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo McConville and Frances McConville (O'Donnell); his daughter Rose McConville; his grandson Jared Biers; his siblings, Mary Graham (James), Donnell McConville (Bernice Larkin), Emmett McConville, Leo McConville (Lois) and Shirley Smith (Richard); and his siblings-in-law, Robert "Red" and Shirley Widmer.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Munroe; his children, Michael McConville (Marlene) of Ottawa, IL, Dennis McConville (Susan) of Peru, IL, Mary Biers (Kevin) of Athens, AL, Ellen Atherton (Mark) of Earlville, IL and Dan McConville (Joanna) of Earlville, IL; his grandchildren, Angela Kalsto (Brent), Brian Atherton (Christin), Jake Atherton (Amanda), Katie Neal (Laen), Luke McConville (Bailey), Jonathan and Daniela McConville; and his sister Doris Jessen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to MASS which is Mendota Area Senior Services, Mendota Christian Food Pantry or to St. Theresa Catholic Church.
