With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan DeWeerth of Mendota, Illinois, born in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on September 10, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herman H. Oltman and Lucielle I. Oltman (Lickhard); her granddaughter Suzie; her sister Jean Margheim (Art); her children, Steve DeWeerth (Valerie) and Suzie Archer; her grandchildren, Emily Painter (Robert), Erik Patterson (Kimberly), Allison Archer, Matthew Archer (Emily), Hannah DeWeerth (Miguel), Jesse DeWeerth, Alexa Archer (Justin) and Abigail DeWeerth; her great grandchildren, Hayden Painter, Jack Painter, Aubrey Patterson, Penny Archer and Lily Patterson; her husband Al DeWeerth; her sister Carol Proeger; and her great grandchild River Patterson.
