She was predeceased by: her parents, John Antanaitis and Mary Antanaitis (Rakausky); her husband Raymond Ritola; her son Michael; and her brothers, John and Philip Antanaitis.
She is survived by: her stepmother Marie Antanaitis (Sweeney); her children, Philip Ritola (Cynthia) of Cheshire, CT, Carl Ritola (Gail) of Rolling Prairie, IN, Mary Lynn Valentin of Sublette, IL and Susan Novosel (Paul) of Crete, IL; her grandchildren, Erin Ritola (Andrew Averna), Sara Foley (William), Raymond Ritola, Matthew Novosel and Alexander Ritola (Brieanna); and her great grandchildren, Auriana and Killian.
Pre-Covid, Jean volunteered in the church office where she "went to work" 3 days a week.
