With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Schmidt of Mendota, Illinois, who passed away on September 17, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Bauer and Lillian Bauer (Truckenbrod); her daughter Carol; her sister Eleanor Geuther; and her siblings-in-law, Ralph Geuther, Anna Jegglie, Ron Jegglie and Tony Witczak.
She is survived by: her husband James Schmidt; and her children, Donna Clinton (James), Debbie Gatza (Frank), Betty Cook (Rick) and Dennis Schmidt. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
