James H. Hessenberger Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2021, at the age of 81, James H. Hessenberger of Mendota, Illinois, born in Ottawa, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hessenberger and Hilda Hessenberger (Hochstatter); his wife Silvia Phalen; and his son-in-law Brandon Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Denise Hochstatter (Leo) of Mendota, Lisa Thompson of Mendota, Nicole O'Donnell (Mike) of Mendota, John Hessenberger (Linda) of Mendota and Jeff Hessenberger (Donna) of Neosho, Wisconsin; and his siblings, Jerome "Buck" Hessenberger (Tomi) of Beloit, Wisconsin, Hazel White (Roy) of Kansas City and Renee Hessenberger of Hudson. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
Masks are required, and social distancing and numbers will be observed.
Memorials may be directed to Holy Cross Church or School, or Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
