He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Demoret and Vera Demoret (Wright); his brother Jim; his daughter Sherry Volkert; and his great grandchild Lauren Volkert.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Taylor of Mendota; his son-in-law Russell Volkert; and his grandchildren, Tim Volkert (Penny), Kelly Gomez and Kimberly Truckenbrod (Dan). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
