With solemn reverence, we commemorate Harold Nurnberg Jr. of Mendota, Illinois, whose life came to an end on February 21, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold, Sr. Nurnberg and Marie Nurnberg (Kaufman); his son Steve Nurnberg; his siblings, Ron Nurnberg and Karen "Kay" Tomfohrde; his sisters-in-law, Carol Nurnberg and Nancy Nurnberg; his nephew Joe Nurnberg; and his niece Lynne Weierke.
He is survived by: his children, Missy Rutishauser, Greg Nurnberg (Michelle) and Marci Parrilli (Jim); his grandchildren, Connor, Marissa, Brady, Lexi, Jake, Anthony and Alyssa; his great grandchild Nayeli; and his siblings, Sue Nurnberg, John Nurnberg (Sharon) and Jim Nurnberg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home (800 Monroe St, Mendota, IL 61342). A prayer will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that memorials be made to Mendota Area Senior Services.
