Gloria Stremlau Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2024, at the age of 94, Gloria Stremlau of Mendota, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Nelson and Emma Nelson; her husband Jerome Stremlau; and her brother Duane Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Beth A Doran (David) of Lebanon, Diane M. Chapman (Lloyd) of Ottawa, Steven A. Stremlau (Karen) of Mendota, Kevin F Stremlau (Luanne) of Peoria and Alan J Stremlau (Misty) of Tonica Illinois; and her grandchildren, Michael Doran, Bridget Doran, Craig Renz, Kyle, Kurt, Kory, Konner Stremlau, Stacy Sparks, Melissa Perschall, Janelle Lewis, Sarah Angelos and Austin Stremlau.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home (800 Monroe St, Mendota, IL 61342). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the STS Peter and Paul Catholic Church (3864-3890 E 1st Rd, Mendota, IL 61342).
Memorials can be made to Abigail Pregnancy Center, Illinois Valley Cursillo, or Peterstown "Teens Encounter Christ" program.
