It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Crane of Mendota, Illinois, born in Troy Grove, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Crane and Myrtle Crane (Roe); and his siblings, Harold Crane, Nelson Crane, Roberta, Dorothy and Margaret.

He is survived by: his wife Marian of Mendota; his children, Carol Crane of Peru, Mark Crane of Mendota and Alan Crane of Mendota; and his sisters, Jean Brueggemann of Menomonee Falls and Arlene Schmidt of Mendota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
