Gerald L. Walter Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2023, at the age of 93, Gerald L. Walter Sr. of Mendota, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence J. Walter and Gertrude F. Walter (Hoffman); his wife Thais Ward; and his brothers, Neil Walter, Richard Walter, Roland Walter and Allen Walter.
He is survived by: his children, Darice Childs of Mendota, Karen Tillman (Ken) of Earlville, Susan Krenz (Jim) of Mendota, Nancy Hulin (Karl) of Belle Fourche, SD. and Gerald Jr. Walter (Teri Schroetlin) of Ottawa; and his sister Margo Hayman of Cedar Rapids, IA.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
