She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Bernhard and Caroline Schmidt (Hoepner); her husband Joseph Ellis Bradley August; her stepmother Clara Ohl Schmidt; her brother Eugene "Bud" Robert Schmidt; and her nephew Joseph Scott Bradley.

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Bradley Howard (Dale), Nancy Bradley Albrecht (Peter), Beth Anne Bradley and Kaye Bradley Williams. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 6 nephews and one niece.
