He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Smith and Florence Smith (Zinke). He is survived by: his children, Christopher Smith (Kimberly Brown) of LaSalle, IL, Melissa Sanford (Bryan) of Earlville, IL and Denise M. Hake; his grandchildren, Ashley Pawlowski (Eric), Brandon Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Meagan Woolard (Brett), Mitchell Hake, Kayla Kaiser, Cortney Kaiser and Carson Herman; and his great grandchildren, Camden, Brooks, Everly, Brody, Miles and Kennedy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home (800 Monroe St, Mendota, IL 61342).
