He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gooden and Mary Elizabeth Gooden (Kuhn); his wife Carol; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Michelle Gooden; and his pet Tara.
He is survived by: his caregivers, Nicole, Jaylin and Sherry; his close friend Dale Roedl; his daughter Jan Hamilton of Murphysboro, IL.; his grandchildren, Trace Gooden (Melissa LaHaye) of Federal Way, WA. and Teague Elizabeth Gooden of Federal Way, WA.; and his sisters, Dottie Ann Hrabak of Pana and Darlene Reiss (John) of Granite Bay, CA.. He is also survived by many nieces nephews and cousins.
