He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sondgeroth and Katherine Sondgeroth (Walzer); and his siblings, Lester, Robert, Gene, Clifford Sondgeroth, Bernice Corrigan, Rita Miller and Pearl Blair.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Christine Whipple; his children, Patty (Noles), Chris Finley (Steve) of Utica and Charles Sondgeroth (Shannon) of Killeen, TX; and his grandchildren, Amber Badgett, Andrea Freisz (Corey), Alexis Barnes (Andrew), Sarah Goetz (Tiffany), Rachel Paralkar (Siddhanth) and Rebecca Sondgeroth. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
