He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schroeder and Ivy Schroeder (Whiston); his brother Ralph Schroeder; and his son Michael Schroeder. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Reckwerdt; his children, Matthew Schroeder (Jennifer) and Roberta Ahlberg (Scott); his grandchildren, Joshua Schroeder (Kassandra), Molly Schroeder, Joseph Schroeder, Jacob Ahlberg and Samual Ahlberg; and his siblings, Floyd Schroeder (Jan) and Juanita Challgren.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a donation to the Mendota Township High School at a later date.
