He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Biers and Kathryn Biers (Andrews); his wife Eileen Phillips; his daughter Sandy Coss; and his sisters, Mary Lou Reppin and Kathy Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Randy Phillips (Judy) of Mendota and Terry Phillips of Mendota; his grandchildren, Ryan Coss (Sarah) of Mendota, Clayton Coss (Amanda) of Mendota, Nicole Manders (Kyle) of Lamotte, IA. and Melissa Jensen of Addison; his great grandchildren, Ella, Collin, Lila, Holden, Harrison, Creed, Olivia Coss, Gabe, Mitch and Camiel Manders; and his sister Sharon Lemmer (Norm) of Mendota.
