It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Roy Durk of Mendon, Illinois, born in Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Durk and Frances Meyer Durk; his wife Doris Jean Stevens; and his brother Mike Durk. He is survived by: his daughter Ronna Jean Rife of Mendon, IL; his grandchildren, Christina Marie Rife of Quincy and David Allen Rife (Tiffany) of Mendon; his great grandchildren, Addison Sue Rife and Elise Doris Jean Rife; and his brothers, Milton Durk (Katy) of Quincy and Robert Durk (Mary) of Quincy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
