He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hurst and Viola Baker Hurst; his daughter Marie Hurst; and his stepsister Delores "Jeannie" Reed. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Lithila of Quincy, Robert Lee Hurst, III of Quincy and Jeffery Allen Hurst of Quincy; his sisters, Roberta Hurst of Mendon, IL and Robyn Hurst of Hannibal, MO; and his stepsister Deborah Guthrie of Quincy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
