He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Maas and Catherine "Margaret" Maas (Thein); his wife Virginia "Ginny" Coulson of Mendon; his children, David Maas (Lisa), Sharon Gooding (Rodney), Lisa Rust (Don) and Barbara Epker (Greg); his grandchildren, Karrie Voss (Raymond), Shawn, Shane Gooding, Sarah Hull, Kaylee Wittler (Sean Mahaffey), Emilie Maas and Riley Epker; his great grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, Brayden Voss, Todd, Aiden, Axton Gooding, Mason, Alayna Hull, Karson Wittler and Axle Mahaffey; his sisters, Marjorie Medsker and Karen McCallister; his daughter Ruth Ann Maas; and his sister Darlene McClintic.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions have been suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Edward's Catholic Church.
