He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Forbes, and June Kiser Forbes, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Thackeray; his daughter Silvia Rose (Wayne); his grandchildren, Caleb and McKenzie Rose; his stepsons, Steve Arnold (Connie) of Fisher, Dave Arnold (Donna) of Gibson City and Jeff Arnold (Candy) of Melvin; and his brother Jeff Forbes (Marie) of Paxton. He is also survived by five step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (129 N Center St, Melvin, IL 60952).
