He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin F. Feit and Virginia Feit (Ummel); and his sister Janet Rasmus. He is survived by: his wife Carol Noirot; his sons, Eric Feit (Beth) of Bloomington and Aaron Feit of Normal; his sister Joyce Leuchtenberg (William) of Lexington; and his granddaughters, Abby Marie Feit of Evansville, IN and Emma Grace Feit of Bloomington.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to St. Patrick Catholic Church of Merna or OSF Hospice.
